Baker Terms of Service
Welcome! We’re thrilled that you’re interested in contributing your baking talents to support our nonprofit. To ensure a safe, fair, and organized experience for everyone, please read and agree to the following terms before applying.
1. Eligibility
By applying to be a baker, you confirm that:
You are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent if younger).
You can safely handle, prepare, and transport food according to local health regulations.
2. Application Process
All baker applications are reviewed by our team.
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
We may request additional information about ingredients, allergies, or experience.
3. Baking Standards
Bakers are expected to:
Use clean, safe, and sanitary cooking practices.
Clearly label all baked goods with:
Ingredients
Common allergens (e.g., gluten, nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, sesame)
Dietary suitability (e.g., vegan, gluten-free, nut-free)
Ensure all items are fresh, safe to consume, and properly packaged for transport.
4. Dietary Restrictions & Allergens
Bakers are responsible for accurately disclosing all ingredients.
Cross-contamination prevention is strongly encouraged.
Our nonprofit is not responsible for allergic reactions. Guests and staff must rely on your ingredient disclosures.
5. Conduct
Bakers agree to:
Treat all staff, volunteers, and participants respectfully.
Follow event or donation guidelines set by the nonprofit.
Refrain from unsafe or unethical practices.
6. Liability
By participating as a baker:
You accept full responsibility for the safety of your baked goods.
You release the nonprofit from liability for injury, illness, or other claims related to your baked goods.
You acknowledge that you are volunteering your time and/or donations freely, without expectation of payment.
You are responsible for ensuring that your baked goods are ready at the agreed-upon pickup time.
If delivering your baked goods, you are responsible for safe delivery. Any damage, spoilage, or issues occurring during pickup or delivery are the baker’s responsibility, and the nonprofit cannot be held liable.
7. Media & Promotion
By participating, you grant the nonprofit permission to photograph or share images of your baked goods for promotional purposes.
Any personal branding or promotional materials must be pre-approved by the nonprofit.
8. Termination
The nonprofit reserves the right to remove a baker from the program for any reason, including safety violations, misrepresentation, or inappropriate conduct.
Bakers may withdraw their participation at any time by notifying the nonprofit in writing.
9. Agreement
By submitting your application, you confirm that:
You have read and understood these Terms of Service.
You agree to comply with all policies, standards, and safety requirements.
